How teenagers decoded their “success code” at the workshop in Yaremche

On April 12, in the Space of Shared Kindness in Yaremche, a career guidance workshop titled “Decode Your Success Code” brought together 28 teenagers eager to explore their potential. The event was organized by Dobrodiy Club with the support of the Zagoriy Family Foundation.

Why This Workshop Matters

The modern world demands from young people more than just professional knowledge — it calls for self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to adapt. Understanding one’s strengths and personal values helps teenagers stay flexible, confident, and resilient in the face of challenges.

During an intensive 3.5-hour program, participants explored their strengths, learned to distinguish between soft and hard skills, discovered current career trends, and reflected on their personal values and professional interests.

Special Guest: Science, Dreams, and Growth

The workshop’s special guest was Serhii Maksymiuk, CEO of Nova Energiya Science Town, Ph.D., and social project manager.
Serhii spoke openly and sincerely about his professional journey, daily challenges, and personal growth, sharing both practical insights and life lessons.

The teens had a chance to ask him diverse and thought-provoking questions — about how to deal with burnout, which technical professions will remain in demand, what books to read, and how to find one’s true calling.

He not only shared knowledge but also inspired the participants to believe in their own abilities, encouraging them to be bold and curious in shaping their life paths.

Participants’ Voices: Emotions and Discoveries

After the workshop, participants eagerly shared their impressions and gratitude.

  • “I really liked the teamwork and mutual respect. It was both fun and engaging.” — Workshop participant
  • “Thank you for the training — it helped me get to know myself better and explore my future profession.” — Another participant

Many participants noted that the event helped them see their potential from a new perspective, recognize their strengths, and gain confidence in their abilities. They were particularly impressed by the guest’s authenticity and by the supportive atmosphere, where it felt safe to speak about both dreams and doubts.

This workshop became not just a career orientation event but a space of self-discovery, where teenagers learned that success starts with knowing — and believing in — themselves.
