Responsible initiative 2025: results and achievements

Children’s Day was created to speak about supporting the next generation — and, most importantly, to take action. The Dobrodiy Club works to ensure that, despite all the challenges and realities of life in Ukraine today, emotionally resilient, conscious, and successful adults grow up here. After all — their present is our future.

For the second year in a row, the Dobrodiy Club has organized the Responsible Initiative, which united hundreds of caring people and businesses. Below are the key results and highlights of this year’s campaign.

Results of the 2025 Initiative

This year, we raised over ₴1.5 million. 79 responsible adults opened personal donation banks, and 100 companies joined the campaign by changing their logos to children’s drawings.

How the Funds Were Used

All raised funds were directed to support Place of Power — a transformational space created by the Dobrodiy Club, where teenagers affected by the war receive psychological and emotional support. Among the visitors are children of military families, internally displaced youth, orphans, and teenagers from large or low-income families.

Thanks to the funds raised, over 3,900 teenagers received support at Place of Strength. We held more than 700 hours of therapy and recovery sessions and organized over 350 events.

Impact in Numbers

  • 1,197 teenagers took part in group therapy sessions — a safe space to talk about their experiences, process fear and anxiety, and find answers to difficult questions. 94% reported feeling emotionally better after these sessions.
  • 1,221 teenagers participated in art therapy, expressing what’s hard to say in words. 92.9% noticed positive changes in their emotional state and inner calm
  • 1,506 teenagers joined workshops and training sessions, developing skills and confidence. 91.2% said they felt more self-assured and motivated afterward.

Voices of the Teenagers

  • “This is the only place where I feel significant, free to speak, and where I’ve found like-minded people. Here I worked through my trauma, learned to value myself, and became more confident.”
  • “These events changed my outlook — I’m no longer afraid of meeting new people. The sessions helped me process painful memories. I just wish I had known about Place of Power earlier.”
  • “I think Place of Power is the best place to find support and feel needed again.”
  • “My life has changed by 180°. I found my safe space, friends, and support.”

How the Funds Were Spent

The raised funds ensured three months of uninterrupted operation of the Place of Power. They covered the rent of the space, transportation for the team and participants, program development, and the work of psychologists, art therapists, trainers, and supervisors.

Additionally, part of the funds supported the daily operations of the center — administrators’ work, communication and media efforts, and the purchase of materials for creative and therapeutic activities.

Thank You for Your Trust and Support

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined the initiative and stood by Ukrainian teenagers in this challenging time. Together, we’ve proven that miracles happen when ordinary people do extraordinary things.

If you want to become part of these changes, consider subscribing to a monthly donation for the Place of Power. Your support will help teenagers feel cared for and look to the future with confidence.
