September at Dobrodiy Club: new meetings, events, and discoveries

The beginning of autumn at Dobrodiy Club is always special — it’s a time when we return to an active rhythm after summer, reflect on results, and bring new ideas to life.

September gave us many inspiring meetings, heartfelt stories, and amazing results we’re happy to share. Let’s look back together at the brightest moments of the month!

A safe space for teenagers — Place of Power

September at Place of Power unfolded in a warm, creative atmosphere 💛 We counted 85 events and over 800 visits — each one was an opportunity to learn something new, make friends, and recharge with positive energy and inspiration.

Among the most popular events of the month were:

  • The workshop “Self-Care During Adolescence” with dermatologist and cosmetologist Khrystyna Kochet.
  • The financial game CashFlow with Yuliia Moroz, which develops strategic and financial thinking.
  • The creative class “Weaving Bracelets” with Knit wear.

In September, the seventh round of the therapeutic course “About What Hurts” began — where teenagers, together with psychologists, explore their emotions, learn to talk about difficult experiences, and find strength in themselves and others.

Art therapy workshop “Safe Place”

On September 6, the Place of Power team joined the Kyiv Civil Society Forum “Kyiv City Workshop 3.0: A City That Holds Together”, held in Taras Shevchenko Park.

As part of the forum, the teen zone invited youth aged 10–17 to take part in an art therapy session called “Safe Place”, led by psychologist Aliona Olekseienko.

Participants created their own symbolic “islands of safety” — spaces where one can feel calm, supported, and accepted. Through colors, shapes, and images, the teens explored what “being safe” means to them and how to find inner balance even during difficult times.

Thank you for your support

All these events became possible thanks to our supporters — people who share our mission and stand by us. Because of you, teenagers have a space where they can be themselves, make friends, grow, and feel supported.
