The first month of spring was filled with inspiring meetings, meaningful events, and large-scale projects.
From career guidance workshops and meetings with celebrities to interactive theater sessions and teacher trainings — every initiative was designed to help teenagers feel supported and discover new opportunities even in the most challenging times.
1,578 unique stories and 173 reasons for inspiration — that’s how many visits and events took place at the Place of Power in March.
The month began with the course “It’s (Not) a Joke”, where participants transformed their experiences into humorous stories. For those interested in technology, we held a training on artificial intelligence, while others tested their knowledge in a legal quiz. Among the most anticipated events were the career workshop “Decode Your Success Code” and a financial literacy class by FIBO School.
Choosing a future profession is becoming increasingly challenging in today’s world.
The “Decode Your Success Code” workshop helps teenagers uncover their strengths, clarify their values and priorities, and find their true calling.
In March, the Dobrodiy team visited multiple locations across Kyiv — including Cervantes High School No. 176, the Place of Power, Helikon Lyceum, the Kyiv Mechanical and Technological College, and Olha Lyceum — hosting a series of interactive sessions.
The highlight of the workshops was the lineup of invited speakers — accomplished professionals from various industries who shared their journeys and answered teens’ questions. Among them were: Anton Yeremenko, PR Director at Kachorovska; Denys, Legal Counsel in the creative industry; Illia Shchetinkin, HR Director; Olha Zota, Co-founder and CEO of UkraineRobotics; Tymur Yakymenko, Marketing Director at Atmosfera; Oleksii Doan, Vice President of ThingsBoard Inc.; and Valeria, pastry chef and co-owner of Navka Café.
Teenagers deprived of parental care often face serious challenges in defining their career paths. Without family guidance or access to information, it’s harder for them to understand their strengths and aspirations. The “Decode Your Success Code” workshop gives these young people new horizons, support, and practical tools for building a confident future.
In March, the Dobrodiy team conducted three workshops for youth with difficult life experiences at the Kyiv Vocational Energy Lyceum, Kyiv Mechanical and Technological College, and the Technical College of Lutsk National University.
Special guests added immense value to these sessions, including: Yuliia Lytvynenko — entrepreneur, business coach, and trainer with extensive experience developing the Aroma Kava coffee chain; Anna Nesterchuk — co-owner and managing partner at Business Active recruiting company; and Hanna Karamysheva-Borysenko — founder and director of COOL Media School in Lutsk. These inspiring women shared personal stories, practical insights, and guidance to help participants find their own direction in life.
In a world full of uncertainty, emotional resilience has become not just a useful skill but an essential life tool.
The “How to Support Yourself in Today’s Reality” events provide teenagers with methods of self-support and help them find inner strength to overcome challenges.
In March, Dobrodiy Club held three motivational meetings in Kyiv and surrounding areas.
According to a study by Dobrodiy Club, 73% of Ukrainian teenagers today are most worried about war — fear for their lives and loved ones, uncertainty, lack of offline education, and social disconnection. The Interactive Theatre project helps them escape anxiety and find joy through creativity and collaboration.
In March, the initiative reached over 2,000 children across Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions. Their heartfelt feedback says it all:
We completed a teacher training program dedicated to using interactive theatre techniques when working with children who have experienced stress.
Participants used a specialized methodical guide developed by the Dobrodiy team, filled with exercises and tools for creating a supportive and safe environment.
202 educators took part in five online sessions, gaining both theoretical and practical skills.
Here’s what they shared:
On March 15, our incredible mentors from Lutsk and Mukachevo met at the Okolnyi Castle Museum. The gathering brought together 23 participants, who shared experiences, challenges, and victories from their mentorship journeys.
“The most valuable thing was realizing you’re not alone in your challenges,” — said one participant.
Later, on March 29, a long-awaited meeting took place in Kyiv, where participants discussed new ideas and approaches to mentorship.
Meanwhile, our mentor-mentee pairs continue building strong, transformative connections that change lives.
None of these initiatives would have been possible without our community. Every donation is a chance for a teenager to find their path and believe in themselves.
