Thank you! Exciting updates coming soon

July at Dobrodiy Club: highlights of the month

July at Dobrodiy Club was bright, warm, and very eventful — filled with activities, meetings, and ideas that inspired us all month long. We talked, created, learned, and found new ways to support teenagers.

Let’s look back at the most memorable moments together 💛

Place of Power — a Safe Space for Teenagers

Some say that summer is a time to slow down — but that’s definitely not the case for the Place of Power! In July alone, the space was visited 1,711 times, and we held 156 events.

This month we launched the “Just Be” course, hosted neuropsychology trainings, and ran a day camp that ended with an incredible performance inspired by the movie Soul.

Among our guest speakers and facilitators were:

  • Oleksandr Todorchuk — on activism and actions that change the world.
  • Anna Ponomarenko — with a lecture on style, confidence, and building a basic wardrobe.
  • Kateryna Chikina — leading an acting training on emotions, stage freedom, and self-expression.
  • Maryna Baturynets — on the professions of the future in communications and SMM.
  • The Knit Wear team — with a hands-on workshop where everyone made their own knitted bracelets.

Place of Power for the (Im)Perfect at Kurazh

On July 12–13, Dobrodiy Club once again joined Kurazh with a teen zone — Place of Power for the (Im)Perfect. Around 100 visitors came to our safe space to talk with psychologists, express emotions through art, and spend time in a cozy, supportive atmosphere.

Last time, many parents showed interest and asked if they could join the activities — so this time we said yes! The “Affirmation Paintings” art therapy session was open to everyone — for a donation supporting teens. Both children and parents created their own motivational artworks and took them home as a warm memory of an inspiring weekend.

Dobrodiy Club at the Family Festival by Gen.Ukrainian and KSE

On July 18–19, Dobrodiy Club became part of the Family Festival organized by Gen.Ukrainian and the Kyiv School of Economics.

For adults, we hosted a panel discussion titled “(Not) Just Teens: How to Understand and Support Youth in Times of Turbulence.” Together, we talked about myths surrounding adolescence, emotional changes, and ways adults can provide genuine support. The discussion sparked lively dialogue — participants asked questions, took photos of slides, and shared their own experiences.

At the same time, children and teens immersed themselves in creative workshops where color and art became a language of emotions, helping them share their inner world and find new sources of balance.

None of these initiatives would be possible without our incredible Dobrodiy supporters. Each donation gives a teenager a chance to find their path, believe in themselves, and feel supported.

👉 Join our community of kind changemakers — set up a monthly donation on our website and help us create even more stories of growth and success together!
