June at Dobrodiy Club: A Month of Action, Support, and Change

June proved once again that Dobrodiy Club is more than just a foundation — it’s a community of people creating change together. Let’s look back at what made this month so special 💛

The Responsible Initiative: Standing with Teens on Children’s Day

Throughout June, Dobrodiy Club’s Responsible Initiative united hundreds of people and companies around one powerful goal — to support Ukrainian teenagers.

Together, we raised ₴1.5 million — the first milestone toward our year-long goal of ₴10 million, which will fund a therapeutic and recovery program for over 3,000 teens affected by the war.

This initiative may be complete, but the mission continues! You can still become a responsible adult and support the cause 👉MONOBANK

Place of Power — A Safe Space for Teenagers

June broke all previous records at our Place of Power space in Kyiv: 1,735 visits and 142 events in one month!

We launched new therapeutic course sessions, hosted a summer day camp full of creativity, acting, storytelling, and even a self-written theater performance. Together with the NGO “Girls”, we held sex education workshops, giving teens a safe environment to talk openly about important topics. We also welcomed inspiring guest speakers:

  • Hosha Akimov shared how to create social startups that change the world;
  • Diana Gloster and Illia Choporov spoke about dreams, success, and overcoming inner challenges.

Your Feedback = Our Inspiration

  • “Everything was so interesting, I’m just amazed 🌸.”
  • “At the Place of Power, I started to openly talk about comparing myself to others.”
  • “I always thought my thoughts were boring, but when people listened and supported me — I felt warmth inside.”
  • “Here I found friends, support, and confidence.”
  • “My goal was to feel more confident. Now I do — I’m not afraid anymore and I’ve accepted my appearance. The self-support exercises helped me so much ❤️.”

Place of Power for (Im)perfect Teens at Kurazh Festival

On June 14–15, Dobrodiy Club created a teen zone at the Kurazh Festival dedicated to mental health and self-discovery. Together, we explored, created, and talked about what really matters.

Participants could join several unique activities:

  • Affirmation Paintings — an art practice focused on positive beliefs, motivation, and inner confidence.
  • Emotion Moodboards — a visual way to express emotions when words aren’t enough.
  • Speed-dating with a psychologist — short, friendly conversations that helped teens gain personal insights and take the first steps toward understanding themselves.

These moments led to small but meaningful life changes.
During one session, a 17-year-old girl shared that she felt unheard in her family. The psychologist helped her find ways to start a dialogue and ask for support.
Meanwhile, another participant painted the words “Don’t be afraid.” Later, she said that phrase became her anchor in conversations with peers.

Together We Create Change

None of these initiatives would be possible without our supporters. Every donation gives a teenager a chance to find their voice, their path, and their strength.

Join the community and set up a monthly donation on the Dobrodiy Club website — so together, we can keep creating more stories of resilience and hope 🌻
