The full-scale war has forced thousands of Ukrainian teenagers to grow up quickly. They have lost their homes, relatives, friends, and normal rhythm of life. Constant stress, anxiety about the future, and lack of stability make them emotionally vulnerable. They are learning to live in a new reality, but they need support for this.
We created Place of Power – a space for support, recovery, and resilience development for teenagers affected by war, so they can feel protected, find psychological support, regain faith in themselves, and learn to overcome the effects of stress.
Three floors, an equipped shelter, separate zones for therapy, creativity, workshops, and training. Place of Power is more than walls – it’s a true sanctuary for the soul.
The space has united 15,000 visitors in just its first year of operation, provided over 3,100 hours of restorative activities and more than 1,500 supportive events.
But to continue, we need your support. 150,000 UAH per month can ensure the functioning of the space, filling it with events and activities, organizing classes, and creating conditions in which teenagers can develop their potential even in the most difficult times.
Your contribution will help teenagers find inner support and the assistance they so desperately need. Place of Power is more than just a location. It’s a place where teenagers once again feel that they are important, that their future matters.
