Every year, at the end of May, schools across Ukraine are filled with flowers. It’s a gesture of gratitude. Of care. But we believe that gratitude can bloom even more brightly — when it comes with not just a bouquet, but also a good deed.
“Donations and Flowers” is a new school tradition: instead of flowers — or along with them — a donation to support Ukrainian children and teenagers who need psychological support and recovery.
We’re not asking to give up flowers. We’re simply offering to add one more gesture to the tradition — a donation to a fund that helps young people cope with the stress of war.
It’s a meaningful alternative that brings together parents, students, and teachers around a shared goal — a better future for Ukraine’s youth.
You can be the one to start this new charitable tradition at your school. Share this post in your school’s parent group and tell your students about it.
